Digital SAT Homework:

Get your students ready for the new SAT with this full set of homework. This set will last your students 15 weeks! You can also integrate Khan Academy’s modules into the study schedule provided to give your students extra practice. The study schedule is easily modifiable so that you can create a plan for each student.

Product Includes:

  • 15 Homework Packets
  • Color (recommended for print & laminating) or presenting on a screen
  • Print in Black and White
  • Answer keys

  • Google Slides versions for each individual set

How to use

Present or print the PDF files. The easiest way to use these files is to have students use the Google Slides links to create their own copies and fill in or do on a separate sheet of paper. However,

I highly recommend uploading them into your own Google Classroom for ease of use to allow students to turn in files digitally.

Small group: have students work on these assignments in groups and then teach problems to the class. Alternatively, have teacher-led small group sessions.

Classroom: Present cards on the screen and have students record their answers on a sheet of paper. Time students for 90 seconds, moving on to the next, and review the answers together when complete. Check out my SAT/ACT formula sheets to accompany this resource and share them with your students!

Know there is a complex number ๐˜ช such that ๐˜ชยฒ = โ€“1, and every complex number has the form ๐˜ข + ๐˜ฃ๐˜ช with ๐˜ข and ๐˜ฃ real.

Use the relation ๐˜ชยฒ = โ€“1 and the commutative, associative, and distributive properties to add, subtract, and multiply complex numbers.

Understand that polynomials form a system analogous to the integers, namely, they are closed under the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication; add, subtract, and multiply polynomials.

Rewrite simple rational expressions in different forms; write ๐˜ข(๐˜น)/๐˜ฃ(๐˜น) in the form ๐˜ฒ(๐˜น) + ๐˜ณ(๐˜น)/๐˜ฃ(๐˜น), where ๐˜ข(๐˜น), ๐˜ฃ(๐˜น), ๐˜ฒ(๐˜น), and ๐˜ณ(๐˜น) are polynomials with the degree of ๐˜ณ(๐˜น) less than the degree of ๐˜ฃ(๐˜น), using inspection, long division, or, for the more complicated examples, a computer algebra system.

Explain each step in solving a simple equation as following from the equality of numbers asserted at the previous step, starting from the assumption that the original equation has a solution. Construct a viable argument to justify a solution method.

Solve quadratic equations by inspection (e.g., for ๐˜นยฒ = 49), taking square roots, completing the square, the quadratic formula and factoring, as appropriate to the initial form of the equation. Recognize when the quadratic formula gives complex solutions and write them as ๐˜ข ยฑ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ช for real numbers ๐˜ข and ๐˜ฃ.
