Step Up Scholarship Tutoring
Wise Owls is a direct Step Up for Students provider for eligible scholarship-funded tutoring. Florida families can use approved funds for personalized virtual tutoring that supports the whole student—not only the assignment in front of them. We currently have tutors available seven days a week for reading, math, and science across elementary, middle, and high school.
Scholarship eligibility, allowable expenses and payment procedures depend on the student’s program and current Step Up for Students requirements.

Scholarship programs and rules differ
Wise Owls is a direct Step Up for Students provider for eligible tutoring services. Step Up manages multiple scholarship programs and education savings accounts, and each program may apply different rules to the services that can be paid.
Because we are a direct provider, Wise Owls can guide families through our tutoring and provider process. Step Up for Students still determines the student’s eligibility, available funds and allowable expenses.

Does Wise Owls accept Step Up scholarship funding?
Yes. Wise Owls is a direct Florida Step Up provider for eligible tutoring services. Approval and payment still depend on the student’s program, available funds, allowable expenses and current Step Up requirements.
Can tutoring be virtual?
Wise Owls provides virtual tutoring. Whether a particular service can be paid from scholarship funds depends on the student’s program and the current requirements for that account.
Is Step Up tutoring only for elementary students?
No. Wise Owls supports students across grade levels. However, individual scholarship programs may have different eligibility rules, so families should confirm the requirements of their specific account.
Do I need a credit card to schedule the free call?
No. The first consultation is separate from the Teachworks enrollment form. If your family decides to proceed, we will explain the appropriate next step after the call.
Can Wise Owls tell me whether my child qualifies?
We can explain our tutoring services, but we cannot determine scholarship eligibility or guarantee payment. Step Up for Students is the official source for program eligibility, available funds and allowable expenses.
